Fun Days Out

Wooly Ward’s Farm

We took a trip to Wooly Ward’s Farm in June 2015. The farm is in Oldtown, Co. Dublin. I would highly recommend it to those of you with children up to the age of 8. It was 20 euro in for us (2 adults 2 children). The owner Mary Ward was so welcoming and friendly. She really went out of her way to make sure we were all enjoying ourselves. There is so much to do including pony rides, arts and crafts and cupcake decorating. We spent over two hours at the farm and the kids loved every minute. What I really liked about this farm was that the children could be hands on with the animals – holding rabbits, feeding animals, pony rides. Not only were the kids entertained but I was offered tea or coffee and a tray packed with goodies came out. Tea, biscuits and cakes for Mam and Dad and goody bags for my two. I know it’s only simple but it really is the little things that can make your visit even more enjoyable. We really enjoyed the day and will definitely be back.
